Serengeti Game Ranch is owned and operated by Kim and Jim Bruner. Kim is a native to this area having grown up in the Comfort, TX area, attending Comfort schools, and spending her professional career in the Texas Hill Country. She began her career working as a teller at a savings and loan office in Fredericksburg. TX and continued in the financial services field over the next twenty years at a local bank holding various positions. At the present time Kim is the Comptroller for American Dream Vacations, a recreational vehicle sales and rental company in Boerne, TX.
Jim is a native of the central Texas area. A United States Marine Corps veteran Jim was graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Science. Following graduation Jim accepted a position as a Wildlife Biologist with a Federal Agency. He spent eight years working throughout Texas including Albany, Llano, Alice, and Kingsville, Robstown, and Tilden. Since completing that aspect of his career Jim has dedicated his time and energies as a Private Consulting Wildlife Biologist. As a Certified Wildlife Biologist he has assisted land managers, land owners, and governmental agencies throughout the State of Texas in all phases and aspects of their wildlife management program focusing on native, exotic, and African species.
At Serengeti Game Ranch Jim has drawn on his thirty-five years of experience to integrate a wildlife management program which includes superior native whitetails, ten species of African plains game including Kudu, Impala, Blesbok, Red Lechwe, Grant?s Zebra, Waterbuck, Scimitar Horned Oryx, Wildebeest, and a first class Upland Bird Hunting program featuring Bobwhite Quail, Ring-neck Pheasants and Chukar.
Jim and Kim would like to extend their personal invitation to come enjoy our Texas Hill Country hospitality and have a great outdoor experience whether it is shooting clays, harvesting a beautiful White-tailed deer or Rocky Mountain Elk, or participating in our outstanding upland bird hunting. We encourage youth participation in all our outdoor activities and hunting operations.
