Fall Deer Hunting Season in Deep South Texas
There is a place in deep South Texas that is 14 miles off the highway and is surrounded by the largest ranches in South Texas. It has oak and mesquite trees, herds of deer, turkey, javelina, hogs, varmints and Nilgai, and is located in Kenedy county. This area has one of the largest concentrations of wild game in Texas. Numerous Boone & Crockett whitetail bucks have been taken in Kenedy county in past years. The ranch is also located by a game preserve.
